The Concept
The idea of splitting the Guitar FX Pedal into 2 units, the Stomp and The Control, was formulated while chatting in The Shack.
We are calling this a world first.
Over 40 years of music experience and a lot of googling hasn't resulting in finding any indication that this has been done before, so we are calling our concept a world first. If you have proof of the exact concept being done before us, let us know and we will acknowledge it and retract our claim.
The Name
Cambo comes up with name - 2Pot.
Addendum: 2023-Jul-30: Needed a name for Facebook and YouTube as 2Pot was too short for them to accept, so 2PotFX is us as well.
The Work
R&D starts in earnest. Over the next couple of weeks the initial working version of The Stomp and The Control (78 Treble Booster) is built, tested and working. 2Pot has created a new innovation in Guitar FX Pedals.
The Success
Wyldwind uses the 2Pot Stomp and "78 Treble Booster" Control at a concert for Reconciliation in the Park 2023 in Geelong. He says afterwards it was "Awesome! I could change my sound on the fly without having to bend down." See in action here
2Pot?
"I was thinking about the fact there were two of us doing this, and also, a lot of pedals seemed to have 2 'pots' on them. 2POT was just obvious. ( I also had the thought that if we do a Screamer pedal, it could be called The 2POT Screamer (LOL) - I'm working on that one. ) 2 POTs - 2 PARTs" - Cambo
2PotFX?
For some reason, known only to themselves, Youtube and Facebook don't allow a 4 letter name for the profile. 2Pot was too short. So, as the name of the game is guitar effects (FX for short) units, we have used 2PotFX with them. I like the branding as well. - Cambo
Who are 2Pot?

Singer/Songwriter/Performer
While performing, I always use a number of pedals. I like to adjust them for the different songs I am playing to get the sound I want. Over time I became frustrated with the fact that you had to bend or kneel down to change settings on a lot of them. I was talking to Cambo and said there's got to be a better way. Cambo said, " Why not split the pedal into 2 units? That way you can put the controls up on the mic stand or something." Well, one thing lead to another and 2Pot was created.

Man of the world. Been There, Done That.
I have always been involved with electronics as a hobby. Using that knowledge to build a new concept in Guitar FX Pedals seemed like an interesting extension. To me, breaking the FX pedal into 2 parts was an obvious thing to do. Get the controls where you need them. I love music and while I play the keyboard, I aint no Liberace, so I have stuck to the engineering side of music. Need a sound desk guy? Here I am. I also DJ and KJ for parties, provide sound systems for events, etc. ( See U R Karaoke )
